Mr Roobin Jokhi graduated from the University of Sheffield and trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Nottingham and Sheffield.
He has a 1st Class Honours degree for his research into Reproductive Biology and has more recently conducted postgraduate research into innovative ways of predicting the factors influencing labour and delivery. He has also published work on the possible causes of pre-term labour as well as the factors influencing timing and prediction of induced labour, working closely in conjunction with Professor Dilly Anumba.
Roobin is an RCOG (Royal College of Gynaecologists) accredited specialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine and runs specialist clinics in prenatal diagnosis, with extensive experience of both normal and high risk pregnancies. He is also accredited by the Fetal Medicine Foundation to perform Nuchal Translucency scans.
Roobin has a keen interest in women with more complex medical disorders, particularly kidney disease but also runs clinics for women with other medical problems including endocrine and connective tissue disease.
His private practice at Claremont encompasses all areas of scanning and advice during pregnancy using state of the art scanning equipment.
